Torin is a former Chef and 2007 graduate of the Culinary Institute of America with over 16 years of College and University Dining experience. Most of his professional career draws from time spent at four different universities across the country, both contract and self-operated; with projects and positions related to managing and opening large dining facilities (both retail and all you care to eat), implementing sustainability initiatives, leading efforts to create and execute RFP’s for various technology systems and vendors, maintaining menu management and register systems, and submitting data to various sustainability and nutritional organizations for long term tracking. He is a firm believer in using and sharing data to make informed decisions, while also promoting and guiding teams to be creative in their endeavors and recipes.
